Journeyman makes good points. Some people seem to think that if you drop a few bombs, then it's problem solved - game over.
These kinds of actions breed hatred-fuelled revenge. Iran is set back for now - maybe. What about in a year or two from now? Is it rinse and repeat?
it’s been discussed before that few jw leaders, past and present, have had children.
this is in contrast with other groups, such as the mormons, whose leaders have had a lot of children.
i wonder if this has impacted jw growth.
If a JW is serious about their faith, it is extremely difficult to reconcile bringing children into this world.
Ive always wondered how any JW can preach about how sick the world is and how close to the end we are, and then proceed to increase the population with their own offspring.

Nuclear weapons would give Iran some leverage but I wonder if they would actually use them. I mean, the day they were launched is the day Iran would cease to exist.

This tension is never going to end and it makes the world a much more dangerous place for everyone.
If Iran is determined to destroy Israel, then every few years, bombs will have to drop on Iran to set back their nuclear program. What happens in the mean time if the US stops sending aid to Israel? What if Russia just gives Iran a few nukes? If israel drops the ball just once - its over. This is fucking madness.
how many of the millions of jws know it’s not true but stay anyway?.
my guess is most jws know it’s not true on a subconscious level to an extent but they don’t want to think about it too much and would never ever voice it out loud.. but this is probably true with all religions around the world?.

It all comes down to this for a lot of JW's, especially born-ins.
Im sure a lot of people living in North Korea know they are living in a propaganda filled, bad fairy tale - even if its only at a sub-conscious level. But what do they lose by trying to escape? Nothing comes for free.
